i would like to create my Maps in Light Wave7 or Maya6 are there any Map exporter for these softwares

But, lay a uv map for every surface, even flat brushes.. Sounds a bit time consuming to me, in fact, for flat brushe, you can make them easily in radiant and texture them with a click

Same here. I was thinking about some automated process concerning the ambient lighting method.
