doomkid3000@Posted: Sun Sep 04, 2005 5:35 pm : is there a way i can change brushes when editing the 3dmodel in ZBrush i mean in the demo, or is that only in the full version

1eyed@Posted: Sun Sep 04, 2005 6:21 pm : Maybe you should start a new topic?

Anyways... If I remember correct.. I don't have the demo.
You can use any brush, or even different 3d objects to deform you model, but you have to use the projection master for that.
If you do, hmm what should I call it... Basic modelling, then you can only change different transform modes, such as inflate, pinch, smooth. As well as brush size and focal shift.
there is other ways to model too, using masks and the deform "operators" or box model.
To explain the above would be to much in this post. I think you should find all this info in the Zscripted tutorials. If you still have questions, go ahead and ask for help. I don't say this becuase you shouldn't post your questions, but that the zscript probably teach you better than answers in a forum.
One last tip, Hold down CTRL while you mouse over any tool / button, that will show you a pop up tip that explains the use of that tool / button. It might also show you some basic info on your alphas and brushes etc.

Is it just me, or do a lot of the ZBrush models out there have lousy proportions and little or no bone structure? It's as if everyone starts with ZSpheres and goes straight into detail work, without bothering with large scale sculpting. Buck the trend!

doomkid3000@Posted: Sun Sep 04, 2005 9:43 am : very handy

doomkid3000@Posted: Sun Sep 04, 2005 5:35 pm : is there a way i can change brushes when editing the 3dmodel in ZBrush i mean in the demo, or is that only in the full version

It might also show you some basic info on your alphas and brushes etc.
doomkid3000@Posted: Mon Sep 05, 2005 4:21 pm : cool thanks for the tip

Sparky@Posted: Mon Sep 05, 2005 9:53 pm : Thanks for the links! They've been very helpful. If I find any other useful material, I'll post here. Why don't we add all the links to the first post?
Is it just me, or do a lot of the ZBrush models out there have lousy proportions and little or no bone structure? It's as if everyone starts with ZSpheres and goes straight into detail work, without bothering with large scale sculpting. Buck the trend!
