To make sure that people don't get lost in the Handy Zbrush Links thread I decided to make a small list of the most important rescources for someone that's want to learn Zbrush. It's small but important list :)

Here we go

1. Zbrush Help and Zscript tutorials

In Zbrush, click on the help button in the top right corner. Read all of it, and don't forget to watch the releated zscript tutorials.

*Edit*

New step

Go to the new(?) Zbrush Learning Kit site

http://pixologic.com/zbrush/class/classroom.html

There you can find the documents I've listed below and some new ones, without browsing different forums threads. There are new videos that explains how to use zbrush there aswell.

*/Edit*

2. The Practical Guide

A simple quote will do here:

Quote:
To help you get on the fast track toward mastering Z2, we have created the ZBrush 2 Practical Guide.

The Practical Guide is comprised of nearly 500 pages of tutorials. Introductory tutorials teach the ZBrush 2 interface, including such topics as the new curve controls and creating a startup document.

These tutorials are followed by increasingly advanced walkthroughs which teach the concepts of 2.5D painting, creating complex shapes from primitives, ZSphere mesh insertions, crease features, and the creation and use of displacement and normal maps.

For artists using ZBrush 2 in a production setting, tutorials have been provided for integrating Z2-generated models and maps with many leading animation packages.

Most tutorials are written as projects, making it easy to learn techniques by applying them as you go. All are laid out in a clear, step-by-step fashion with an explanation for why each step is performed. You can skim just the steps, or take time to read the more detailed texts that follow them. Icons are also provided to help draw attention to features that are new in Z2. In short, the Practical Guide has been carefully and attractively laid out to present an abundance of information in a clear, concise manner.

3. Zbrush Central

Zbrush is not as complex as many other programs, so you should have a very good knowledge about Zbrush after these 2 steps. So I'd recommend another visit to Zbrush central

http://206.145.80.239/zbc/index.php

4. Some last tips

Pixologic Quickstart Workflow Series:

ZBrush Environment Modeling
ZBrush Canvas Modeling

http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=28320

Video Tutorials and More Zscripts tutorials:

There are alot people that recoreded their Zbrush sessions. If you download their zscripts, you can see every step they took, replayed in your zbrush. You can find these on Zbrush Central.

Try to find as many videotutorials as possible. Some I'd recommend are from http://www.kurvstudios.com and http://www.digitaltutors.com and Zbrush Central. Sign up for free and start download!

Ok, I hope this will help you master Zbrush in a quick and easy way :)
