im working on my wagon model, and ive got most of it done, but all my pieces are still seperate, and im wondering how do i make all the pieces into one object? i know about parenting, but that doesnt really make it so its a single mesh. if i were to import this into doom3 as is with all the diff seperate shapes, would it still work?

im in no rush, but if you have a suggestion, please do  thanks.

*okay i imported the pinky md5 mesh and sized the wagon up so im ready to put it in the game, the model, but i still want to attach alot of the objects so it wont be as hard to set up the textures

***the main thing is, when i use dertons md5 exporter, i can only pick one little object at a time, so i want to make the whole thing one object so i can export it all at once, please tell me how if you know, thanks again

so i turned all the objects into editable meshes and connected them all, and now the whole thing is one mesh, and now im going to go back to to my textured version and make a texture map thing and see ifit works

Sorry I didn't visit the forum for a few days and couldn't answer. Alot of hints are in the exporter's readme.txt though. ;)
Good to see it worked, and I wasn't surprised to read that Brain helped you out. Attaching furniture to monsters is exactly his kind of thing.

he didnt actually help me personally, i watched his videos. the only prob i had was getting the model into the game with all textures in tact, and his multi-textured mesh tut was perfect, and ur md5exporter of course! but i only used that with the animated model i did b4. thanks  Im starting to get the hang of this, i can now just make my models export um as .ase files and modify that and put it in the game without any help now
