When I get home I will post the pelt mapping plugin I've been using. It's probably just as easy.

Oh, I'm going to uninstall the pelt mapping plugin I was using because with this you select borders, click "unwrap" and bam! Instant Uv's without the needs to set parameters and everything...

By the way, did you mean this?
