6th Venom@Posted: Wed Sep 06, 2006 1:34 am Post subject: Multimaterials Textures & Der_ton MD5 exporter.: Hi, i want to know if there is a "fix" to this problem:
When i make a model into Max using multimaterials material (multi/sub-object), then exporting it with the Der_ton's MD5 exporter V0.92, i always got to replace (re-put, re-place) textures in the right order.
I mean if i export a model of a green ball on a red cube on a blue pyramide, my MD5mesh will be a blue ball on a green cube on a red pyramide (or anything else) 8/10 times.
I noticed it's not an alphabetic issue, but maybe an "old age" elements INTO the model exported. something like "you modelled head first, so i export it first, then you add a torso, so the torso will be the second, etc...", or maybe i'm totally wrong, an that's something else.
It's not a big problem, cause i put manually materials at right places in the md5mesh, but, you know...
Do you got this problem? Is it solvable? Did i miss a tuts on this?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry there is no fix that I knew of at the time I investigated this.
