6th Venom@Posted: Fri Sep 15, 2006 3:37 pm    Post subject: Mephisto monster/boss model available for a mod...: Weeks ago, i reworked on my Mephisto ( http://www.doom3world.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=13676&highlight= ) model to finish him. but like every time, my motivation goes away with days, and i finished bored by him...

After a short reflexion, i decided to give to one MOD (alive) my Mephisto model as a contribution. like this, it will take life by another rather than diying on my hard drive...

Already done:
- Modelled semi-High & low polys (3578 triangles)
- Textured with 2x 1024*1024 materials (tga*3) and a 256*256 one (total 3x3=9 TGAs). Materials (.mtr) are done.
- Already rigged/skinned (not perfectly).

What need to be done:
- Export him as a "real" monster for your mod (i exported it as a func_animate for test...)
- Retouch some "skin" bones.
- Sounds? Wink

So before give it to your mod, i want to be sure that your MOD fit a minimum with its style/world.
If to adopt it interests you, give me a link to your MOD' site, and i'll choose what's the best carreer choice for him! Laughing

Plus like i mentionned above, i give the low poly model (3580 triangles) and a semi-high one of 21680 polys and vertex painted (if you want to change lavas textures...), a "test" animation, all in a MAX file.

His teeth are not modelled, they are faked by textures, like pinky's & cherub's.

But still as i said, i will not make any other modifications... Wink

*EDIT*: For the orange color, that's cause he was coming out of lava, and i love this "more colored" skin rather than a grey/black/red(flesh).
