I'm working on a quickie model for a two-handed sword, and I'm having abit of trouble figuring out how to model the blade:

Any ideas? Tried some box modeling, but it turned into far more trouble than i'd have liked. Any help would be appreciated.

trace with a line tool, extrude, convert to editable poly, Quickslice, and slice the polys needed for the bend.

edit- I think theres a better way to do it, I haven't done this before but you can create meshes out of nurb splines.

Yepp - spline modelling would a good way to go.
