I tried out the general md5 exporter and i allways get the following error message:

Code:
Unknown propertiy:"matrid in (md5submesh verts:#() weights:#() tris() shader:undefined)

What am i doing wrong? The animation is a simple box moving form A to B within 10 frames.

Change your model poly's material IDs to the same as your texture. (1 if it's not a multimaterial texture). :wink:

Ok, i did this but i still got the same message. :cry:

I set the mat ID to 1 in the editable mesh, and on the "Material ID Channel" Button in the Material editor, for both, the Texture and the Material itself. Is there some other place where i have to set the Mat ID that i´m missing?

Usually, it's caused 1) when i forget to apply the material to ALL the mesh parts, or 2) when some faces got another ID that the material.

In the last case, MAX automaticly loop IDs. if you make a sub/multimaterial with 4 materials, the 5th will be the 1st, 6th the 2nd, etc. , so you will not notice missing ones (5th, 6th, etc...), but the exporter don't loop these.

So to be sure to avoid it, select all you faces and set them "mat ID = 1", re apply your material on all, then try to export.

Maybe it's something else, but i only know this sort of problem.

I checked all the polys and all have mat ID 1. I have no multi/sub material i´m using a standard material with one texture in the diffuse slot. It´s still not working. Damn.
