Hi Everybody, what do i have to do to get the base_floor/sflgrate2.tga texture
streched "correctly" to that trapezoidal element in 3dMax.

I tried to do it by using the unwrap_UVW modifier, but that did lead to nothing.

Position the said element exactly the same way as the others are. This should fix your problem.

You might also want to turn on texture correction for the perspective viewport like the image below. I made a screenshot for you. This helps with further aligning textures.
