I'm a total newb when it comes to making uvmaps, but I managed to follow a tutorial and create one. Trouble is, the model I was working with already HAD a uvmap--a very screwed up one from a 3ds import. I didn't notice this when I started (and I'm not sure what I would have done about it anyway).

When I load the object in game, it is still using this old uvmap instead of mine. Both show up in the list of uvmaps, so I know mine is there.

Is there any way to either 1) delete the old uvmap, or 2) make it the default?

This refers to LW 9, so I'm not sure if this works in older versions:

*Hit F8 (Or go to Windows > Vertex Maps Panel).

*Under the Name column, collapse the Texture heading.

*Click on the name of the texture map you would like to delete and
either hit Delete, or right click to bring up an options menu, which lets
you copy, rename, delete, etc. the texture map.

Hope this helps.
