Allright, time for a new release. I kinda started this map as a side project next to my other map Medellin, but this map got me so hooked I decided to finish it all the way.

The main goal was to create a cool looking map suitable for 1vs1 and deatmatch with about 4-6 players. Another goal was to create my own textures, I have done this in the past alot but not recently. This map however has some default q4 textures and for the rest the textures are 95% my own work.

The setting of the map is the Kowloon City district in Hong Kong and mainly the Kowloon Walled city which has been demolished.

The map is quite heavy, at any given time you will be looking at about 100.000 polygons. but since the small size of the map and small amount of players its very playable on today's systems.

Im very happy the way this map turned out. My next map will be in a kind of the same real-life setting, however this will be in a different major city and off course a totally different layout

That looks really cool, dude. Very nice work. Reminds me of Method's maps.

Looks really nice, gives me the feeling like I want to play MP quake (not many maps do that for me anymore).

Methods last testwork was deffinately inspirational but also other maps. The main thing for me was to do a more realistic style and really capture the style of hong kong.

wow. thanks for the link. kowloon walled city seems like its from a sci-fi movie or something. hard to believe people lived in there.

yeah @_@ that place looked supremely insane. from the pics i just googled there was like nothing around it really, just this block of buildings.
