Something "off-topic" i made lately, that i want to share
A test-run to compress a given video to all codec's that i have currently installed on my system. Including all the default Codecs that are part of Windows and probably most people have on their system. Now discover what they are able to.

Goal: Find the codec & settings that is able to do the job as fastest.
Use: getting the best enviroment to use for "live" video-capturing, with the less performance impact as possible.
Reason: Total logical & the lack of usefull info's to find on the net. (& tired or no need of "use google" tips)

My current winner is the FastCapPro Software. Because it is the only tool i found that is not suffering from my weird, weird video-capture bug that appeared on my new videocard. Geforce 7600GT. Also the Performance impact is most likely the smallest.
My old Geforce FX5200 card, which is less than half as fast however did not have that problem capturing with FRAPS. The new card seems to have some serious (unresolved) Problem, appearing on FRAPS & every other Tool.
If there is any person experienced the same Problem, please let me know ! Seems i'am the only so far. Forced help myself. This Test is part of that.

Use that as guide
