ASnipe34@Posted: Tue May 13, 2008 4:45 am : I don't have UT3 (machine won't run fast enough, even when I whip it) but I've had requests for static meshes in the .upk format (freebies -- non commercial). I use Blender (and .ase exporter, np) and I know this is Doomworld, but it's also the main haunt of Goofos, so I thought this site would be a good place to start.
Even yes .upk or no .upk would be good. I haven't heard good reports about the UT3 coding, so an Blender exporter may be doubtful. NP, I've been asked, so I'm asking.
Thanks in advance people.
kat@Posted: Sat May 31, 2008 2:46 pm : Probably not going to happen too soon, I can't remember if UPK is static or animated but if it's statics just go with ASE as that work just as well if set up properly. Wasn't there an exporter for UT2k3/4 (unless I'm thinking of Crysis), might be worth trying to get intouch with that author if there is one.

In fact you need to "import" your ASE in the engine and then save a new pack that contain this converted model.
