I just saw this on our forums over at Beyond3D.

Apparently Ubisoft put up a patch for the game on their official support website (link 404s on me now). Snooping in the .exe will turn up several tags put there by a warez group.

The official forums are going wild. I am completely taken aback at this monumental blunder.

Does this have something to do with Ubisoft putting emphasis on anti-piracy and in turn having some sort of connection with piracy? If not, then the cards have been shuffled, the tie has been loosened, the car has been crashed, the time has finally come, the end is almost near, the can has been opened, the fly has been zipped, the world is at an end, the straw has been pulled, the fabric of our existence was sewn to another fabric, the door has been shut, the aliens have invaded, the window pies have been stolen, the internet is no longer a series of tubes, for on July 17th, 2008, I haven't any idea where this is qualifies as an Epic Fail. Mel Gibson, Angelina Jolie, Edward Norton, Carrot Top, Christian Bale, and Stephen Hawking, all starring in... The Passion of the Wanted American Psycho of Hulk History and Hard to Understand Jokes: Mastermind Translator - Beep Beep, Boop, Boodop. Rated G for nothing. Warner Doughs.

By the way--

Devs hacking their own product? Something like that?

I checked the links, the only 'proof' is the word 'reloaded'? That could mean anything. Without a byte per byte comparision with the crack noibody can say anything for certain.
