Hi guys.

I just got Doom 3 today, and I am having problems with it. My monitor can support I think 1680x1050. However, there's an option for 1600x1200 and everytime I choose it, it tells me to restart Doom 3 for the changes to take place. I do that, and then it reverts back to the lowest resolution possible. what gives?

Thoughts?

Specs, if needed:

3GB RAM
nVidia 8800 GTX
Core 2 Duo @2.66 GHz
Windows XP
500 GB Hard drive

Code:
seta r_customHeight "900"
seta r_customWidth "1440"
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_aspectRatio "2"

Replace height/width with your numbers, change aspect to proper one (0=4:3, 1=16:9, 2=16:10=widescreen monitor), then place in your autoexec.cfg in the doom3/base folder.

Where do I place those numbers?

I meant these lol:

seta r_customHeight "900"
seta r_customWidth "1440"
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_aspectRatio "2"

And how do I put them in the autoexec.cfg file thing?

Also my autoexec.cfg file isn't there.
