Hi, this afternoon, my ACER AL2416w 24' widescreen died.
Look like an implosion in smoke! ...i never saw that. :shock:
It was only one and an half years old, and i don't know what caused that.

I suppose it's a rare thing, but it's a real shame a thing like that happen, on a so expensive material, so short after the guarantee expired.

I once saw that happen with a television... the sound of it was quite impressive.

I already bought a SAMSUNG SyncMaster 2223w in the same afternoon (the first real screen i found near home),
i can't live without my pc... am i sick doctor?

I have 3 monitors now. Duel screens + a backup. I'd find someone getting rid of a space 15" or so, just so you have a backup, just in case. It's hard to replace them sometimes, I know. Been there. :D
