I downloaded VS2008 ISO file and I can't 'explore' it, what do I use to open them and run a executable so I can install it?

I am using Vista...

You can extract ISO files with winrar, among other programs. You can also mount them with a virtual drive like Deamon Tools, or you could burn it to a disc with pretty much any burning app in the world.

ISO format is just a file based image of the filesystem and structure of a CD or DVD, the above mentioned methods work fine but I'd recommend burning it to a disc.

If you have a CD burner just download CDBurnerXP and burn it to a disc.

If you don't need to have it on a physical disc, I'd say burning it would be a waste of time and the disc. Mounting the ISO as virtual disc (with Daemontools or similar) or opening it with an iso explorer tool has no disadvantages and gives you faster access (HDs are faster than disc drives).

Yes, don't burn - mount.

I used Winrar and it seems to work perfectly then anything else Im just having issues installing VS2008 Service Pack 1 from it, it just seems to fail at the end of the installaition, I know this is off topic, but mite as well ask real fast.

Thanks, Ajm113
