Hahahhaa, that was awesome.

Cute.
I would've enjoyed it more 5 years ago though.

Different camera angles occasionally for cinematic enhancement, I like how you gave yourself a cute smile.

Nice and smooth animation, good work - however, the lego-bricks video from the white-stripes spoils the fun of animated music-clips since it was made so good imho.
Anyway looks still pretty pro for homemade.

Hey, thanks for checking out the video and for the comments. I haven't seen the White Stripes video (I didn't really know music videos were even still being made by anyone) and may just continue to dwell in my ignorance of how good these things COULD look, or I may get discouraged against future projects. This video was made as a test. I tossed in the advertising aspects as a joke, and will remove them at some point, particularly since the advertised gig is not actually taking place.

Yes, its cretique - from me ... and you have to life with it. Just kidding :). Shame on me if i caught you on the wrong foot.

The virtually-no-ads version is now up on YouTube and as the AVI download (woopdedoo!).

i thought it was fun to watch (not bad playing either!).

was that done in doom 3 with the lego models you made?

Brain Trepaning@Posted: Sat Oct 18, 2008 5:39 pm :
I used the model from Bubba Lego-Tep with a different rigging for each musician but all you're seeing is 3ds Max, Photoshop and Premiere. As it is, I could get them all into Doom 3 within an hour using der_ton's General Exporter (as I did for Red Fizz, found in the Daikatana Doom 3 mod), but I'm not sure how I would be able to use the singer's lip sync, as it is an animated material of sorts. I could render the face out as a flat texture and wrap a movie on the head for the singer or render out a bunch of stills and apply them as an animated texture in Doom 3, but there are 2680 frames, so I don't think I would actually do it that way.

you could use the "skin" keyword into model's anim at different frames to change the face...
