Something to worry about? Or another hoax?

Personally, I think it's bullshit. Isn't it odd that if the U.S. government has the power to make Hal lose his radio show for talking about this, they can't just do something as simple as shutting down his blog to shut him up? On top of that, how can these new "ameros" be minted in Colorado (as Hal claims) and not a single worker at the mint reveal this information before him? And how the hell did he get one of those coins from the 800 billion Ameros shipment to begin with? He must be a freaking spy!

There's a lot of holes in his story, but maybe I'm missing something here. Can anyone else counter my argument, because if there really is some truth here, I'd like to know what the fuck is going on. Thanks.

This is bull, but entertaining and I recall it from over a year ago.

The 'secrecy' surrounding the actual minting of something like the Amero is no different to any other currency; you don't hear much about 'regular' coin mintage either for the same reason which is ostensibly counterfeiting & security. So there's no real surprise there. As for the coin itself that he shows (I've not watched it all yet) I understood it do be similar to the silver dollar and what he showed looked like copper (copper electroplated steel).

The 'North American Union' does already exists but it's not called that nor does it (yet) have the Orwellian overtones being suggested by 'alternative news', it's NAFTA (I think that's the acronym) the trade agreement between Mexico, the USA and Canada and more ominously the SSO (again I think.. I'm grabbing this stuff off the top of my head so I can't remember the exact verbiage) as well as a recent unilateral agreement to share military resources throughout the 'Union' that will legally allow Mexican troops into the upper states and visa versa (conditionally at the moment from what I understand).

There is a surprising amount of truth behind what's being said, it's obviously tricky to sort the wheat from the chaff and subject to (some often wild) interpretations.

Not sure what to make of Messrs Turner himself though, being antagonistic isn't the way to get a message across to people.

Hal Turner is a white supremacist and a crazy person. The coin he's showing is available for purchase from a collectors mint, it is not created by any government, and it has no monetary value.

What a relief. Hal Turner is just an asshole with a big mouth. :)

Thanks, guys, for clearing up any doubts I had, no matter how little they were.
