if you haven't watched how can you say they're crap? First three are excellent. Great adventure movies. 4th was blah.

Phobos@Posted: Tue Apr 21, 2009 2:32 am :
I couldn't help but being reminded of indiana jones with that trailer and the score. I think someone brought that up already.

And who cares. You can't "badmouth" indiana jones. It's harrison ford ffs. They're classics. It's like star wars.

Yeah. You have to put the artifact on top of the staff. Then you place the staff in the temple and the sun beams point to the location of the treasure.

Well, yeah, i did actually see one of them. Cant remember which one, with indy being controlled by a voodoo doll. I thought it was nothing special. The last one, however, pure crap. F***ing pancho villa in PERU??? FFS. Being peruvian I couldnt help by be offended. And Spielberg can go screw himself. He's a mediocre director at best.

You need to see the first one. Trust me. Its nothing like the others. Its a timeless film just as good today as it was in 1981. A great & unique adventure movie.

The rest are crap. The first is incredible.

Yeah something has happened to the directors, because they cant produce good movies anymore and sequels. The Kingdom of crystal bullshit sucked really bad no doubt, no one liked it.

Schildler's List was a mediocre movie too. Right up there with War of the Worlds and Minority Report. If you want a good ww2 movie watch Der Untergang. The writers of the wolfenstein movie should take notes from that.

Schindler's List is MILES above those other two movies. I would agree that a lot Spielberg's stuff is mediocre, though. I think an accurate description of him would be one of the better mainstream directors. Talented, but generally keeps to a pretty basic formula and style. Schindler's List was one of his few movies that broke his typical mold. I honestly wish he'd do it more often.

I will agree however that Der Untergang is a brilliant movie and its high up my list when it comes to WWII movies.
