I've lived in Wisconsin and I've lived in New York, and I can tell you this is the most retarded partnership I've ever heard of.

Something tells me HH isn't working on Ecko. But yeah, Ecko seems like a bad development idea. Madison and New York City are polar opposites...

These are hard times for developers that's for sure.

I wonder what factored into the decision. The IP has potential but is risky. If 3DRealms are straped for cash this could have been an impulse purchase. Perhaps owning all id Tech 4 licensed games has some appeal to id/Bethesda?

I hope this will mean that they will work some day at Prey 2. Original Prey end in open way, one adventure end and other just begin. Prey is very good game, but unfortunately it is not appreciated and not good know (many people just categorize it as another doom3 clone in dark futuristic corridors without playing in it), full of interesting ideas - combat, puzzle and plot twist. Main hero got his character (not like in d3 or q4, more like Duke). I was sad, I was in hope there will be at least some good mission pack for this game.
