Hey guys, I've been trying to get a custom map I've made using ET:QW editor to run properly in Wolfenstein as a pk4 but with no luck, I've followed the conventions of ET:QW with the addon.conf mapname.md and mapscript and it just doesn't seem to want to know.

I can get the map running fully if create new mod folder and dump the files there outside of pk4 and use a pakmeta.conf and a mod shortcut to load the game then the map that way.

The map is just simple layout of a map I'm planning with some teams, was hoping to be able to test the layout online but doesn't look likely at the moment.

Here's the map if anyone want's to try have a bash, http://www.battle-of-wolken.co.uk/wolf/z_wolfmap.pk4

Any ideas would be welcome.

Sounds like you're pretty close. Did you use Wolf textures in there? If so, did you jsut ectract them and put them into the ETQW folder?

Nah, as its just the layout I'm testing I used some plain etqw textures, around 5 in total to distinguish different areas, then I created a new .mtr using the same material names but using wolfenstein images. It looks ugly as sin but to test the layout its good enough.

The objectives and spawns were slightly more hassle, had to do a .entities edit to insert some specific wolf entities or to edit existing ones to use wolf team names.

Sadly it just isn't working when in a pk4, I think it has something to do with the addon.conf as neither the mapinfo file or mapscript load when trying from a pk4.
