Whats the difference in Units? Quake 3 feels squatty and dwarf like in comparison to Doom 3.

Q3 is 56 units high and the D3 player is 64 units high.

In Quake3 the player speed is way higher than in Doom3, so the player needs more space. Maybe because of this the player in Q3 is smaller compared to the environment?

For Doom3 I remember they wanted to have more realistic measurements.
