title says theme song...as a main song it is weak and generic...I M O
DooM always had strong and original music, think E1M1....and that metal vibe...
sure you can say they want to make it different...I say fuck that ...build on the strength of the francise not against it ! and I really hope they are going to put more than 4 demons against you because in rage the 4 enemies at times fights are lame...
I don't want a pure remake but I want a DOOM game, worthy of its name and heritage, quick, brutal, scary and in your face.
and no console kiddies stuff...
really hope it is a fake and no theme song....

When I hear this, I think something like the looping main menu track. I mean if you heard Doom 3's menu music before you heard the actual theme, you'd say the same thing. However in retrospect you don't really think twice, do you?
The question is, where did this crop up from and why are people convinced it's legit? Seriously what's the history here?

In show reel there are thumbs to each track, when you try to save them, the title is either "thumb.jpg" or "game name etc.jpg". On these tracks (there's three of them) title of the file is 'DOOM4_trackname_mastered".

It also doesn't necessarily mean it's a main theme or even an important one though. If anything, it kinda feels like it was composed for a teaser trailer.
