Mods: Feel free to help - just edit my post
Welcome to the Doom3 Editing Guide and Resources sticky thread. This is an attempt to consolidate some of the huge list of resources available for D3 editing, making it easy for beginners to get on their way and for veterans to easily find the resources that they need.
Of course, this requires a large amount of community involvement (this means YOU), so to facilitate this we have some rules:
1) Please stay on topic and post only relevant information.
2) Please check to make sure that the link isn't already in the list below.
3) Please post the link to the resources as well as a brief (1-2 sentences) description of it.
4) Please let us know if there are any broken links or changed URLs.

Ultimately, this is here as a central link resource guide so that we can get rid of some of the other sticky threads.
AEon@Posted: Fri Apr 22, 2005 4:55 pm : Pitty not so many people are helping you out on this FAQ. I found the link to the SDK and the official site very useful though. If I actually cared about Doom3 any more, I'd have gladly helped, but as it is... sorry.

Also, I'm working on a fireing range map. When its done should I post it here? (Explosive targets, weapon accuracy tests, moving targets, ect.)
Also, everywhere I keep seeing people talking about this "SDK". What is it!?

obsidian@Posted: Tue Nov 23, 2004 4:45 pm : As you can see, I've added a resources thread. Feel free to post any relevant links and either I or another mod will add them to the list above. After adding the link, your post will be removed.
Ultimately, this is here as a central link resource guide so that we can get rid of some of the other sticky threads.
AEon@Posted: Fri Apr 22, 2005 3:55 pm : Pitty not so many people are helping you out on this FAQ. I found the link to the SDK and the official site very useful though. If I actually cared about Doom3 any more, I'd have gladly helped, but as it is... sorry.
BNA!@Posted: Fri Apr 22, 2005 4:59 pm : The whole board is nothing but a FAQ.

13579~@Posted: Sun Aug 26, 2007 9:55 pm : Would it help If I made a few tutorials on simple scripting things (Like adding better zoom, making the pistol select-fire, ect.)?
Also, I'm working on a fireing range map. When its done should I post it here? (Explosive targets, weapon accuracy tests, moving targets, ect.)
Also, everywhere I keep seeing people talking about this "SDK". What is it!?
