They have VTM (Video Training Modules) and their latest one is for LightWave. The VTM is 1 hour 55 minutes total, and there are 9 sections to the VTM. Everything is free to download, all that is required is that you register at their site. This VTM is geared towards people new to LightWave, as it covers the basics of the interface and a few other things.

I've registered on the site and have got a list of VTM's, but there's nothing for Lightwave, it has the following though :-

I've been experimenting with this lately, however, i'm yielding some pretty lame results.. I think displacement maps would definately help, but it would be awesome if there was already a tutorial out there that could point me in the right direction.

You could try converting a cuboid worldspawn into moveable_base, then creating an appropriate normal map?

Btw I just finished installing LW 7.0, I'll be going thru the tutorials later thanks for this thread!

Anyone know of a lightwave tutorial specfic to modeling say a brick (tilable) wall and the doom3 engine? I've been experimenting with this lately, however, i'm yielding some pretty lame results.. I think displacement maps would definately help, but it would be awesome if there was already a tutorial out there that could point me in the right direction.

You could try converting a cuboid worldspawn into moveable_base, then creating an appropriate normal map?

Btw I just finished installing LW 7.0, I'll be going thru the tutorials later thanks for this thread!
