They have VTM (Video Training Modules) and their latest one is for LightWave. The VTM is 1 hour 55 minutes total, and there are 9 sections to the VTM. Everything is free to download, all that is required is that you register at their site. This VTM is geared towards people new to LightWave, as it covers the basics of the interface and a few other things.
bb_matt@Posted: Mon Aug 18, 2003 10:45 am : JuggleNuts, have you got a direct link to those VTM's ?

I've been experimenting with this lately, however, i'm yielding some pretty lame results.. I think displacement maps would definately help, but it would be awesome if there was already a tutorial out there that could point me in the right direction.

You could try converting a cuboid worldspawn into moveable_base, then creating an appropriate normal map?
Btw I just finished installing LW 7.0, I'll be going thru the tutorials later thanks for this thread!

Fusion@Posted: Sat Dec 11, 2004 9:05 pm : Anyone know of a lightwave tutorial specfic to modeling say a brick (tilable) wall and the doom3 engine? I've been experimenting with this lately, however, i'm yielding some pretty lame results.. I think displacement maps would definately help, but it would be awesome if there was already a tutorial out there that could point me in the right direction.

You could try converting a cuboid worldspawn into moveable_base, then creating an appropriate normal map?
Btw I just finished installing LW 7.0, I'll be going thru the tutorials later thanks for this thread!
