Many people have tested this and it appears to be valid:

- Download the latest 7.5b Update
- Download the latest Sentinel Drivers (the hardware dongle you usually need to run the full version of lightwave)

Install both and the 7.5b Update should startup standalone as the Discovery Edition Smile
Note that you need to install the sentinel drivers, but you don't need the hardware dongle itself!
